1. About Lexora Editing Studio

Lexora Editing Studio (“Lexora”, “we”, “us”) provides editorial review, editing, proofreading, and strategic language refinement services for professional, academic, media, and institutional clients.

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

Lexora provides human-led editorial services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • editorial review and language refinement,

  • structural and stylistic editing,

  • proofreading,

  • strategic editorial feedback,

  • editorial services in English and Bulgarian.

The exact scope of work is agreed individually for each project following an initial assessment.

3. Quotes, Fees, and Payment

All services are quoted on a case-by-case basis, reflecting the nature, length, complexity, and purpose of the material.

  • Quotes are provided prior to the commencement of work.

  • Payment terms, including fees and deadlines, will be specified in the quote or agreed correspondence.

  • Once the scope of work is agreed, an invoice will be issued.

  • Work will begin only after full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Unless otherwise agreed, all fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and complete materials,

  • ensuring they hold the necessary rights to submit the text for editorial review,

  • informing Lexora of deadlines, intended audience, and specific requirements.

Delays or changes in scope may affect delivery timelines and pricing.

5. Delivery and Revisions

Lexora will deliver the agreed editorial work within the specified timeframe.

  • Edits are provided using tracked changes or annotated feedback, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Reasonable clarification questions related to the delivered edits are welcomed.

  • Substantial revisions beyond the agreed scope may require additional fees.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the original text remain with the client.

Lexora does not claim ownership over any content submitted or edited.

Edited materials are provided solely for the client’s use.

7. Confidentiality

All materials submitted to Lexora are treated as confidential.

We do not share, publish, or disclose client content to third parties without prior consent, unless required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lexora provides editorial services intended to improve clarity, coherence, and language quality.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, publication acceptance, commercial success, or academic results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexora shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement prior to completion by written notice.

  • Work completed up to the termination date remains payable.

  • Any agreed deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable European Union and national laws.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
